As a mother of two, and one of them being in his twenties, and only in my late 30's I became an adult before becoming a child, and a woman before becoming a teenager. My life has not been a fairlytale, but I would not trade it for anything else. Throughout my trials and tribulations, I learned how to stand up for myself, be resillient, focused and above all.... how to always be faithful to "GOD", and always hope for a better tommorow.
I was an unwanted child, the full story of my becoming in this world has never been clear to me, but I grew up without someone to call mum or dad, something that made me a sad and lonely child. The fact that I was consistently abused both emotionally, physically and sexually, made my life even more unbearable. Although everyone around me knew who my mother was, I was kept in oblivion, and when it was mistakenly revealed to me about who my mother really was, I was so exicited and run to her shouting "Mother"...... I received a beating that for as long as I live I can never forget.... and was warned with vengeance to never utter the word again. That was the beginning of my nightmare, one that lasted for a very long time, until my "saving grace" arrived, which to say the least arrived in a disguise, a disguise that was a total disgrace to everyone around me and the entire society. But that was the beginning of my journey towards enlightenment, courage and faith.
