I was introduced to the concept of guerrilla goodness a few months ago.
It intrigued me, but I couldn't do anything with it at the
time.
As 2010 approaches, I am beginning to take stock of the
things in my life that I spend time on. I read once that we are
practicing all the time. No matter what we are doing, we are
practicing. And we will become expert at whatever we practice most.
This
year I want to practice happiness. I'm coming to realize that to
be happy, I have to have something greater than myself to live for. That brought me back to guerrilla goodness. And, what could be better than making my purpose to make others happy? To do so without any strings attached. Swoop in, like a guerrilla fighter, deliver the kindness, and be gone.
In the next two weeks, I want to gather a group of people to practice this; to be on the front lines, fighting for kindness. I want to do one group project each month and pose individual challenges.
Think
it's possible? Can I find a group of people to meet once or twice a
month to work toward increasing kindness in our community?
I hope so.
