Angels for Hope is a nonprofit organization that offers free crocheted angels for anyone in need of hope.

You can visit the website, www.angelsforhope.org and request a crocheted angel be sent to someone you know that is injured or chronically ill, or someone who has lost hope. The angels are mailed to the person with a note saying; you are not alone, others do care, you are in our thoughts and prayers. You can request your name be on the card, or it can be sent anonymous. In addition to crocheted angels, you can also choose a butterfly, or a smiley face. If you go to the website, you can see them.

In 2008 they have sent over 70,000 items. You can become a volunteer for Angels for Hope, by crocheting the items. They will supply the patterns, and inform you of who to send the item to. This is a perfect way to use your talents to make someone going through a difficult time, feel that others care.

On their "Learn about us" page, they have a pdf file, where you can print out a fryer to post in your local store, church, or supermarket. Doing this will help others to know about Angels for Hope. By posting it, you will have helped to have spread the news to others who know of someone who needs an Angel of Hope.
