Embrace Change
I realize for so many year in my life, I am happy as long as everything stayed the same. I don't like change. I think of my old job, I was so unhappy, I dreaded going to work, but it was better than starting a new job. Oh the thought of getting my resume together, interviewing, making sure I make a good impression. Then if I get the job, it's meeting all new people, learning a new job. Forget it, I'll just stay where I am, and deal with it.
Well one day I just couldn't take it anymore. I was reading something about embracing change. Long story short, I did get a new job, and it was a lot less pain than going to work everyday unhappy. When things in your life make you unhappy, whether it's relationships, jobs, where you are living, you absolutely need to change.
I believe God speaks to me, through these bad times, telling me I need to move on, He has something better in store for me. Never look adverse times as being bad, things usually always turn out for the better.
Think of change as a river, always flowing and moving things around. The river of life is constantly bringing you ideas, people, situations - each one is an opportunity to be enriched or to enrich others, and to learn. Don't fear change, embrace it!
