Doing good daily doesn't necessarily mean helping other people or yourself. It could just as well be doing good for our little friends that walk this earth along side of us.

Today, i was on my way home and saw a turtle trying to cross the cement paved, traffic ridden road, to find a canal on the opposite side. I stopped my car and put my hazards on (this isn't the first time i have done this), i got out of the car and although the turtle was big, i picked him up and brought him to the canal. I like to keep a towel in the car just in case i need to drive an animal to a safe location or to the nearest hospital if injured.

Although i may have been an inconvenience to other cars behind me, i know that saving a life as small as a turtles was well worth their wait.
