Most of us probably have somewhat of  a fascination with what is
termed the after-life. Was it not Stephen King who wrote the
Shining in the Stanley Hotel (known for a ghost or two)?

Old buildings, mines, hospitals, schools may well have a certain reputation that we hear about from time to time. I have heard
that after Jimmy Simpson camped out in the Rockies in 1898 and the Num-ti-Jah Lodge was established (near Lake Louise) years
later that some interesting dreams and events were noted. After
all, the rockies have attracted hikers, hunters and even those
in search of gold who may have perished in an avalanche or
rock slide or even a plane crash and years later an unsuspecting
tourist thought something was unusual, was it an illusion or
presence of a ghost? Is it possible? A thin line perhaps between
reality and the spirit world.

I also believe that some folks are truly sensitve and gifted and
may well be able to connect or perceive something where the rest of us do not. It may be a restless spirit who stayed earth bound for a time to conclude unfinished business, to draw attention to a death or something else.  Have you ever felt a sudden chill or breeze in an old building? Or the feeling that just maybe someone is watching you, even though not a soul is in sight. There are many things in life we cannot explain.  Someone
who recovers from an illness, wakes from a coma, has stopped
breathing for a few seconds only to come back to earth. Some
incidents may involve angels. Driving off the highway a year ago
in a snow storm only to be helped by someone who left as quick as they appeared had me guessing. And a visitation by strangers when I recovered from an appendix operation. Was that the effects of Morphine or maybe not?

In our hearts and minds we have certain knowledge but cannot
possibly explain many of these special moments. My conclusion
drawn is that there are angels and restless spirits in our lives.
Perhaps we should simply make peace and keep love in our hearts where possible in our lives - because is that not the place
angels are really attracted to - places of peace and love?
