I was up most of the night thinking about the things I would like to do...like spending time volunteering at shelters or mentoring a child. I also thought about the things that I wanted to change from past experiences. The truth is everyone makes mistakes and sometimes the guilt of that mistake can wear us down. So we run out into the world and try to fix it, when what we really need is to fix ourselves. God is a reliever of all on pain. He forgives us when other people don't. When I went down memory lane of the things that I wanted to undo I wasn't putting those beliefs into use. It's funny how a Christian can quickly forget the power of God and start relying on their self. I just want to encourage all people to give their problems over to God. No matter what it may be. Start with yourself. The advantage of a relationship with God is realizing that we are not in this life alone!
