Its called MRSA. Its a superbug. We have yet to fully understand it. Its killing many people. Where are the real answers?

It looks like a spider bite. Its very painful. Its killing perfectly
healthy people. Its not only in nursing homes for the elderly,
its out in the open. It has reached livestock. We need to be worried.  Its called MRSA. Are we on the edge of an epidemic?

Well, first and foremost, this has been around since the 60's and
research and medical people and the media are better informed.
Nonetheless we need to better understand MRSA and other superbugs.  We, the everyday ordinary folks need to understand this. We need to read books about it, check it on the internet,
keep up with new information. We need to do this, even though we are told its under control. Is it?

The atitude of some nursing homes and hospitals seems to be
...oh don't worry...to Be very worried?  What is the real story?

Our Mom had MRSA before she passed away. Some days family and other visitors were told - definitely wear a mask and
gloves and take other precautions, keep a certain distance. And
on other days we were told, oh - its okay, today you don't need to take any precautions?  Curious?

Again I ask the question, are we on the edge of serious epidemic? And if so, is there a reasonable solution such as the
precautions that were taken for HINI?

My suggestion to all the readers would be to talk first and foremost to your doctor. Ask about this. Because as it stands
we are left with limited information and advice that seems to change from day to day. We do need some real answers, never mind the questions. After all its life we are talking about here...
so don't be shy about letting your concerns being made known.
After all, its really up to us....
