Good Monday morning John........I am glad that you are feeling better....Thank you for the nice comment on the Blog.....Hey wouldnt that ever be nice to be able to keep a few chickens like grandma and grandpa did on 48 st   ..*S*.. 

 I remember going there and gathering a few eggs every once in a while..  Also if you remember there were some people on 45  st by the name of  *PROSKOW*  ..... that our mom used to go usually on weeekends......... to get a chicken for Sunday dinner...Mrs Proskow ...would grab a chicken .....and lop off its head...   *S* sometimes the darn chicken even ran amok for a minute or two.... ill never understand that for the likes of me....Unless it was nerves or something .... but i know it scared the heck out of me.......Also mom even bought milk from mrs Gordulic across the road ....who kept not only chickens but also a cow.......which our dear brother *Ted*  threw rocks at   ,,,,,,what a boy   **S**

  I was thinking how times have totally changed.... and now ...  *Maybe comming full circle* .. hey John.....

  Yes... those really were the days... of not having to  even lock the door  ....either ...and being able to depend on a neighbour for help if needed......now ...wow step on a neighbours property and there is trouble,,But thats life i suppose so we have to make the best of it and do what we think is right and good.Nothing stays the same..

 I wonder   what the future holds for our future generation....

 Oh well ill be pushing Daisys....by then   *S*
