Another cold winter up here in Canada. How many of us look forward to a good hockey game? Pat Burns certainly looked forward. A coach to teams in Montreal, Toronto, Boston and New Jersey. And especially remembered for the 2003 Stanley Cup won by the New Jersey Devils.

As Pat neared the end of his life from Colon Cancer (which then spread to the liver and finally the brain) he said:

"As your life gets closer to the end you realize that your body gets weaker, your mind gets working hard but your heart gets softer. As you get closer to family, you get closer to God."

Like many others Pat indeed fought to the end.  Feeling dizzy,
trying to excercise and eat well. But as they say, looking good is one thing, feeling good is another...
