Psoriasis has been termed a multi-factorial dermatitis. Many suffer from this disease. The genetic question has always been there along with environmental issues and even the psychological factors. Such as stress - from a death, family
problems, etc.
I have a personal interest and concern. I suffer from psoriasis.
Although in my case, it seems to improve during the warm
summer months and gets quite annoying in winter. I notice it
daily, in my case its on my left elbow, left hand (palm) and right hand to a degree. I have medication - a hand cream, and that helps.
I have (like others I am sure) researched the subject, spoken with the family doctor and even someone well respected in the area of acupuncture - but have not gone that route.
I have heard red meat is not the best nor is bread with glutten but continue to have red meat and have yet to purchase the glutten free bread. Wearing gloves helps, as well as trying not to
get stressed out (and like many folks, that is not always easy).
Yes, I suffer from Psoriasis. I go to the Psoriasis web site from time to time and try to keep up on what is possibly helpful for some, but I continue looking and not find the answers I hoped to find.
If you suffer from Psoriasis, I would like to hear from you and get a few ideas from you on what helps.
In the meantime, good luck with your psoriasis. Keep reading,
learning and hoping. I shall do the same. I am just starting to read a book on Meditation. Hopefully that will be helpful.
