blog
How are you all doing? How often do we stop and take the time
to ask that of our neighbors, friends, fellow bloggers? I know we
live in a busy world and that life is passing us by slowly, one day
at a time. But its nice to stop and smell the roses. Yes - and its nice
to stop and meet and greet new people.
Some of you were incredibly kind when Mom passed on, and I had
taken the time to write some very emotional blogs. Some of you
likewise have written about personal situations, moments you wanted to share and things you wanted others to know about or just talk about.
And how am I doing? Well, not bad. Just a few days past my
64th birthday. Like yourself - lots of reflection. A couple of days
ago I was clearing snow off the roof of our home and garage -
as we had a record snowfall up here in Canada. Somehow I
must have twisted, bruised or injured my knee. So yes, here I
am home-bound for a few days, waiting for x-ray reports, etc.
It was different to have my wife drive me across town to the
doctor. Same family doctor we have had for over 30 years. Indeed
some things and some people are precious.
And what about you? How is your health? How is your family
doing? How is your workplace or are you enjoying retirement?
I know, some of you prefer keep this information private. Thats
ok. Just thought I would ask.
But before you run away, have a fine day, enjoy that cup of coffee
(or tea), enjoy those moments with family, enjoy the weather or
whatever it is that makes and keeps you content.
And from one blogger to another, God Bless, think young and
take time to rest once in a while. After all, if we don't look after
ourselves - then who might look after us? Enjoyed this visit
with you. And looking forward to YOUR next blog. All the best.
