Valentines day~  Apparently up until 1969 ~ it served to celebrate the day of the saints ~*St Valentine* and a couple others~  within  the *Catholic Church~  It went as far back as 1537~as to what it meant in those days.....

 Today ....... it is a  special holiday....... for  couples.....and young and old to showcase... thier love for each other  .......  to express thier love in many ways ....

   It actually has the commercial side of it all smiling...........Yikes...    there is everything that you can think of out there   to buy....... and try to impress your little valentine......

 Yesterday.... i was walking through the mall...and everything was red.... boxes of chocolates... all wrapped in pretty  shades.... of red wrapping paper.   with Red and Pink Bows......... bags of red valentine hearts.......and various lovely greeting cards   all with red hearts and writing   .....I spied red *garments*    slippers  and flowers   ........Of course. i forgot to mention....... This year ...everything isnt  all  about  *Everything Red*..  Apparently   on television ..... i actually heard......that one of the biggest sellers  for Valentines day is   *Blue*  

 Would you believe.....  that they said that *Viagra*  was   the  *Number 1 *  seller for Valentines Day **  What next..........But who am i to judge...*S*
