Is it possible we are all just visiting? Here for an indefinite time:
to make our mark, leave our imprint. Yes, just visitors.

Maybe if we thought of our life experience like that, just perhaps,
every day would be extra special. We don't know from one moment
to the next whether we might make it across the road, complete
our drive somewhere, actually wake up in the morning. We don't know. We think we do, but we don't. And thats a fact.

So, sure the positive thinking, let me be your friend approach cannot do any harm, but let us remember that our time here
is not forever.

How many of us read the obituary in the morning, over breakfast?
Was that Sam or Sally that we once knew. My gosh. So young.
Whatever happened.

Luck had run out, life had run its course. The road came to an end.

So like a good ole cowboy once said, don't get too high on your
horse, or too certain of yourself, or think you can forecast the
future. Even the next day is hours away. So much can happen.
And does.

Am \I sounding a little pessimistic? Perhaps realistic. Knowing
very well that we are in fact just visitors and owe it to ourselves
and all those around us - for some simple consideration, some
love....and maybe then, when the night turns dark and the day
has reached its last hour - we will find the energy to say a
prayer of hope, of love, of forgiveness....

And was it Roy Rogers who said: "Happy trails to you...."
