The years go by so quickly~   So many things  change  ~ of course you will agree ~ Beginning with all the new technologies~   and   *Wording* in changes in measurements~ that we have to get used to  ~and try ~**using **~rather than using what we were brought up with ~ For myseelf ` one of the things are  ~ Going to the grocery store~and standing at the meat counter  ~ I have always asked for a pound of this or a half

 a pound of that  ~ rather  than asking for my purchase in *grams*    I know its not really a difficult thing~~ but thats' the way it is  ~ I have often  had ~the people behind the counter ~*giggling ~~*as when i truly forgot ~and have asked for *400 pounds * of ham or what have you rather than 400 grams  *S*~  Then comes  the measurements  ~ when i hear that we are getting ~**so many centimeters **of  *snow * living in Alberta  ~   Yes we do get a lot   I think  *WOW*~ I was brought up learned ~ Inches   Feet and yards~It does make a huge difference and

 not centimeters  and such  ~~~~But again  I have tried ~to convert over to what it is now  ~   I do like the idea of going to the doctors office and being weighed   `*S* Youll surely agree with me there   ~ *S*The KG's   dont sound as severe as pounds   ~

 I understand that the supermarkets now can get away with recent changes without much thought as the packages might look the same but the contents are becomming less  ~

 I suppose a person should really read the packages~ *If* you are really concerned  ~Myself ~I'll just go with the flo  ~ as its not as important to me  any more ~ as i said in the beginning ~the years   go by ~*too quickly *for that concern~
