I do believe it was Mother Theresa who made that comment about our need to keep putting oil into the lamp, to keep it burning. So
much truth to that. And the fact that we need to love our fellow man. That is not to say we ignore the wrong-doings, but that perhaps we try to understand why things happen in the first place.
Thats it - try to understand.

Imperfect human beings.Thats what we are. Plain and simple.
With all the things that don't help us to shine - we still need to
move towards the light, throughout our journey of life.

And family day is a good time to appreciate the simple treasures and pleasures that life has to offer. To remember that everyone is
different and unique and not all roads lead in the same direction.
It is our uniqueness that attracts our friends to our side.

So get on the phone, get out a writing pad. Correspond. Call.
Communicate. Tell those close to you that you love them.
Make this day special in some little way, whether you are reading
this blog from an airbase in Iraq or a truck stop in Kansas.

After all, what we might give in some small way is special.
Let us all make Family Day special. God Bless.
