As we sit through a few more bitter cold nights up here in Canada, an article from the Daily Telegraph in Houston caught my attention.

The article was about music therapy being used to help
Gabrielle Giffords.  Just reading about Gabrielle singing
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star brought tears to my eyes.

This is one incredible, determined woman who has utilized sheer
willpower and family around her to move towards recovery.
Gabrielle, our prayers and our love. And I am certain this sentiment is echoed by many many Canadians and Americans.

And indeed, how wonderful that music sessions have played a great part in her recovery.  In Phillip Sherwell's article
in the Daily Telegraph it is noted from a former opera student
(Morrow) that music and rhythm work across all parts of the brain, helping a patient to speak, and with emotional challenges.

Whether its rock and roll or simple tunes, music is doing wonders for Gabrielle.

To a speedy recovery Gabrielle....
