Every now and then a photograph appears in the paper, another crackdown in New Jersey or Montreal, Canada. Another Godfather off the street, but somehow somewhere the business is
carried on, by another family member or business associate.

The famous line, I have an offer you cannot refuse...spoken by Brando in the movie the Godfather...

And with the Sopranos taking prime time on Sunday television, even grade school children began using four letter words. So, from the networks into your living room...killing and deals gone bad and swear words that didn't seem right on a quiet Sunday evening. But the fascination was there and the networks realized they had to keep the viewers happy. Life is amazing!! It seems television is going where it did not intend to go.

There is little left to the imagination. But one would suspect that somehow somewhere the surviving members of the Mafia are smiling all the way to the bank and enjoying all this attention.

Yes darlin, there is a road to hell...and for some, the attraction of fast money is just too hard to resist and to be a member of an organization with all the perks  you can only dream about....must surely be an open invitation to some folks. But once you enter, there is no going back....
