I have wanted to write about my experience as a single adoptive mother for a long time now.  Just as my step into parenthood, I do so with a bit of trepidation.  Somehow I know, that just like my step into motherhood, writing about it will be one of the most gratifying things I will ever do.  I hope that my story and our experiences will inspire others to adopt. At the least, I pray that it will provide an inside view of the joys and challenges single adoptive parents and their children experience everyday and how we can all do our part to change lives for the better.  It is without a doubt the best decision I have ever made
