The Little Things

Sometimes we dont realize what we have untill it is no longer there, and for a person like me who had everything and was on top of the world and now having to live in poverty everyday for the past 5 years I have noticed that it is the little things that can make a big difference. Dont let anyone tell you that your one person cause we all know from the past one person can do a lot.

My Mother has been in and out of jobs and layed off and rejected for every single help in the world including food stamps and health care, and when she finally thinks shes gonna get on the right track it all does not work somehow she is going to school to become a medical assistant. And when she comes home and surprises me and my family with take out or even a little something special like a shirt that was on sale believe me it means more to me then anything.. so that is why i say the little things are important. Speaking from expierence I know what it feels like to give 100 percent and fail I know what it feels like to wonder what I am going to eat when I get home and I know what it feels like to suffer through illnesses like acid reflex disease and bladder infections and anemia and not know how I am going to get help. So when someone says Dont worry ill pay this time or We are gonna get soda! or We are going to turn the air conditioning on! People take it for grantite their cars their cell phones and every little accesory to them its just another little thing but to me it makes my day and i know a lot of people that are becoming to feel that way as well it just had to take losing some money to open their eyes when for me its never been about money its been about what makes us happy and what makes me be with my family.
