I believe.

I believe in the goodness of people, the power of the positive, and belief that Good does happen to Good people. 

I have a small place that has been vacant for over 2 years, and I have been paying mortgages on.  It is not anywhere near  where I live, nor is it really a hop, skip and a jump to get to.  It's more like re-arranging deck chairs on a ship in rough waters to get to. 

In this hard economy I have found in nearly impossible to get what I was asking in rent, and have left the place vacant, and just paying the note, and other expensive on it.

Nearly at the end of my rope, and feeling the weight of added financial burden grapping at my legs monthly, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and check out a public site for people seeking rents.

After, praying about my situation since 2 AM, and saying my mantra “I do believe in the Goodness of People and the power of the Positive”, I found a post, not a perfect match, but very close to it.  I called.

This person needed a rental in the area, and could only pay a certain amount; they wanted to stay close to their family and in the same area they were already living.  They said they were told they were "crazy" to post an add, and to ask for help.  Then I too, must be crazy, because I too had asked for help to a bigger power than the internet.  Look what happened, two strangers helping each other for the goodness of each other, and listening to our hearts, believing in the GOODNESS of all.

This person knows the area in which the property is located, and is willing to work with me, and I with them.  I have come down considerably on the price that I wanted; however, I believe that having a person in there is better than not having anyone in there.

This is all because I believe... It’s worth a try... I am willing to offer a helping hand and in return, I get help. 

Isn't this wonderful, just when the darkness was getting darker, the stars come out to shine the pathway of a helping hand for each other. 


This is how I live, believing, trusting, and helping.  Thank you Goodness of the Universe, Thank you new person in my life, and I thank God I haven't and don't give up that easily.
