october is domestic violence month and if you have never experienced domestic violence then consider yourself blessed. well, i don't know what else you may have experienced but i suppose we should all consider ourselves blessed anyway, huh? i mean anyone who is reading this anyway because you are at least blessed with the gift of sight and life and knowledge to read...one can do a lot with just that.
anyway, i am new to blogging, but i plan to make it a habit. i am a survivor of domestic violence (among other things) and i know that i am blessed but i am scared for my baby son right now - he is ten but he is my baby - and i don't know where he is. i mean, he is supposed to be here with me, but he isn't. i feel sad about that.
i have been charged with the task of breaking the generational cycle of abuse and violence in my family...why me Lord? why me? and thank you for letting it be me all at the same inquisitive time...lol. thank the Lord i am still blessed with my sense of humor huh? thanks to Katie Byron for helping me to "Love What Is" and just basically roll with the punches. may i start by changing my thoughts so that i can change my world?
that's all for now.
