I remember a story about a fellow showing some friends some pictures. He would show a photo and then say something like: "Oh, thats me in Fiji..."
or "There I am by the dock...." or 'Another one of me standing near a
black bear and that was scary..." And on and on. Until the friend said...
"Hey look, here is me, leaving the room...."

Now how often have we all run into this, or become a part of it. Our friends
and family usually being quite tolerant until we overdo our show of pictures
or concentrate too much on "me" after all there has got to be more to a
vacation or to what it is we are trying to show. So whats the point? Well, just
the idea that "we" or "me" are really part of a bigger picture and its just
something to keep in mind when showing off those precious pictures. How
about somethinglike: "Here is a pic of Aunt Lucy beside the old apple tree that
she loved...." or...."Here is one of Dad with his brother who ran such and such
business in such and such town for many years. You get the picture. And yes,
its not all about me. Never has been. Never will be. The big picture. Thats what
we need to see. And yes, that includes "me" to remember this. But then, we
all get caught up in our moments ot travel or doing something silly. Guess we
all need to show off now and then.  So don't feel too badly if you (like I) have
sometimes gotten a little carried away with being "me".....its ok, you can
forgive yourself now.

And say, here is me, leaving the blog.  Cheers.
