Rebel...oh really?
The african american existence here in america can be summed up simply as this...Not a rebel but a man standing up for his own.
There is a difference between a man seeking respect, seeking dignity and a punk or a rebel without a cause. Rebel is candy coded word for defiant one. The african population in america should not go a generation to be labeled as rebels. Because the only one I knew of was James Dean. Because the powers that be in america are of the bigoted opinion. The media and white population call them rebels simply because they have been mis informed. And "oh whata crime"..have not understood the black experience in america.
Blacks in america by majority are law abiding, God fearing and respectful people. To use the term 'rebel' and attach it to black people is crazed.
