Do you know someone addicted to Meth? Don't we all have a friend, or even family member who has decided to give meth one try, just one try, and quit. Ya, right!! It only takes once. Remember that. Using meth can include euphoria and anxiety - ironic that some of effects seem almost positive, such as increased energy, alertness, concentration, increased self-esteem, self-confidence, even sociability - but wait, beyond that, beyond those few good moments come the bad - paranoia, hallucinations, excessive feelings of power. And it gets worse, with headaches, diarhea, blurred vision, tremors, convulsions, heart attack, stroke - and these symptoms can last days and weeks and even months.... So whats with people young and old wanting this high so bad as to risk their own life? As stated earlier, use meth once and you are addicted, plain and simple. In Canada, British Columbia seems to have the worst problem with meth. Big problem there with car accidents resultant from a driver being high, or overdosing. And both depression and suicide are very very common. The users eventually lose interest in basic things like eating, drinking, having sex and even sleeping, according to Community Drug Alert Magazine (August 2012 edition). Meth addicts may hear voices in their mind telling them to harm others, And after delusions and hallucinations kidney damage, lung and heart failure, coma and Death!!! Ironic, since the movie Traffic (with Michael Douglas), the meth (80% of it) works its way from Mexico to Canada and the U.S. Yes, finds its way to your city, your neighborhood and possibly to your home. Repeat after me: We hate it. We don't need it. We don't want it and its not welcome in our neighborhood or in our home. And those peddling this nasty stuff need to be dealt with - just as it causes death - perhaps those people pushing this garbage need to see in large print: You supply meth and cause someone to die, you die!!!! Am I right or am I right? Please speak to me, let me hear your comments, your experience or about your family member who changed from using this wicked wicked drug...
