Blog posts in this section are all about how we can adjust our lives, our mental attitudes, our routines, on a personal level, so that we can achieve greater levels of personal satisfaction and thus increase our ability to spread positivity.

I recently saw a link a good friend posted on Facebook. It took me to a website allowing me to view the only known photo album filled pictures of Jews imprisoned at Auschwitz during WWII. Initially I hesitated to view the album. Not because I’m squeamish or afraid of what I might see, but rather because in my heart, I want to do good

ANGER AND SELF-ACCEPTANCE

In my work with my psychotherapy clients and students in my classes on self-love I champion a loving and positive relationship with one's anger. This is because I have come to see that everyone -- no exceptions! -- is carrying a significant burden of suppressed and therefore self-damaging anger. However "holy" we strive to be it is far better to strive to be ourselves and stay real with our authentic feelings. That is true self-acceptance and the path to inner peace and joy.
