In order to help others we must first become comfortable with ourselves. We believe we find the comfort in ourselves from helping others, but sometimes life gets more complicated than that. Blog posts in this section are all about how we can adjust our lives, our  mental attitudes, our routines, on a personal level, so that we can achieve greater levels of personal satisfaction and thus increase our ability to spread positivity.

Living the same routine everyday, one day identical to the next tends to leave you feeling unhappy, and unfulfilled. Although you may want to, you feel that it's hard to make changes when you are used to doing things the same way everyday.

The greatest part of a persons day is the quiet moments he chooses to take for himself. Even if it's a few minutes a day, just to be alone with yourself in silence, helps to restore the peace that is so often taken away from you with the loudness of a busy day.

People know what is good in their heart, they want to be more giving and less self absorbed, but they just can't bring themselves to the point of changing. What I believe prevents them from being the person they want to be is being tangled up in the person they are. Today is the day, it's time to let go of what is preventing you from being your authentic self.

Life's a Journey, Not a Destination

If your goal is to overcome depression, understand that what will make you proud once you reach your happiness destination, is the journey you took to get there. Revel in your journey, expect setbacks, embrace all your emotions and remember that being depressed about being depressed will only make you more depressed. Allow yourself to feel depressed and you will get over it much quicker.
