Positive change in the world starts one deed at a time, one day at a time, one moment at a time. Blog posts on this page are about the things we can do in our daily lives that can help ourselves and others change for the better.

After being laid off last year I became more aware of how many people are going hungry. I have always been concerned about the ethical aspects of being human (former philosophy prof teaching ethics amongst other subjects). But teaching is not doing everything to help others. What stared me on philosophy was the question of justice in Plato's Republic. That question still drives me...since I was 18 years old. SOcial justice is where I choose to put my energy.
