Doing Good Daily

Positive change in the world starts one deed at a time, one day at a time, one moment at a time. Blog posts on this page are about the things we can do in our daily lives that can help ourselves and others change for the better.

Returning the favor

Helping out when I can

Change for Today

Just a thought of how to think of others

Volunteering

There's no greater feeling than knowing you've made a difference in someone else's life...
With the economic crunch you would not believe all the pets that are abandoned because people can no longer afford to feed them. Shelters are filled to capacity, with animals being euthanized at alarming rates. We can all help, even if it's a little donation. Help feed a pet, so families are able keep them.

A Remarkable Act of Kindness

This story is so inspiring! It proves the ripple effect. Doing one act of kindness inspires others to repeat it. We can change the world one act of kindness at a time.
This post is about doing things, not just talking about doing things. We all can talk about doing good, but unless we actually do what we are talking about then we aren't really accomplishing or changing anything.
We need to do all we can to not only prevent danger to our pet, but to make others aware of the danger. Many pets are left in cars during the summer months, with the windows cracked slightly,  and that can be deadly, even for a short time. Just one small act on your part, could save the life of a pet.

It is in Giving that we Receive

We change the world, one person, one kindness, one deed at a time. It's not only about doing, it's about sharing ideas to make the world a better place.

Just a Thought

Families

We should treat our families better. Here are some reasons why.

A drink of water

A small gesture to show support of nursing mothers

Random Acts of Kindness

No greater joy

Lost child

A teens desire for acceptance
Unlike diseases such as Cancer, Alzheimer’s, or Parkinson’s to name a few, I believe Loneliness is a disease that has not been addressed and needs to, not only among the elderly but among all Americans. My hope in portraying this story today, in this forum, on this site focused on change, is to make aware that we have the power, you and I, together we can cure this life impairing disease.

I helped my neighbor who was sick

I really didn't want to go, my Mom sort of made me go, but I'm glad I did, because it made me feel good to help someone in need.

Memorial Day

I just love this site, it has inspired me to do good for others.
I think change starts with the little things, the day to day things where if we start with simply treating each other better, the end result could be a much more peaceful world.
