I have gently turned 50 and am looking forward to what today brings. I'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. We certainly know that there is much to worry about...or in other words, to contemplate. My small town life with 14 siblings, running, playing, and being home before the street lights came on...my grandchild will never experience that. Drive~In movies, Sunday ice skating, and lots of penny candy! Those were the days. I'm thankful for them.

I've been in a dead zone. Moving neither forward or backward, but stuck here and wondering why. I could live anywhere, for a week, 3 months, forever, but here I sit. In a place that is physically beautiful, but no longer good for my soul.
