Almost a year ago, I quit everything in the states and moved to the rainforest of Puerto Rico, where I live and work (gratis) at an entirely volunteer run operation known as Tropic Ventures Education and Research Foundation, which seeks to develop sustainable methods of forestry to allow Puerto Rico to produce it's own timber without depleting or destroying the forests, and without relying on imported wood, which costs the island approx. 184 million dollars per year.
