The struggle to keep our children safe has become a daunting task for parents in this 21st century. Stop the Violence Save our Communities (“STVSOC”) is design to bring the awareness to the safety of our children within the low to middle, to upper-class income families. As a community, no matter the families financial or economical status, WE ALL need to lend a hand to ensuring our future “our children“ are protected at all cost. We have to revert to the old standards “It takes a village to raise a child.” Our parents today need to live by the days of old, when your neighbor, the clerk at the corner store, and even the beat cop could keep an eye on your kids and before they had a chance to get into trouble, someone was always there to say NO!. The pandemic of violence amongst our children needs to be focused on more aggressively.
As we recognize this pandemic and the effects it has on our future generation “children” we at the STVSOC “Stop The Violence Save Our Communities”, have the privilege in partnering with a number of well respected Community Leaders, Elected Officials, Faith-base Leaders, Activists, Media Personalities, and the Community to ensure our families are educated and a means to follow up. THIS IS NOT JUST AN EVENT, BUT A MOVEMENT!!
This STVSOC event is an all day event filled with information directed to educating our families on the well-being of our children.
On the day of the event, families can get medical, nutritional, health, educational, etc. information brought to them from City, State, and community agencies/organizations.
The event will be filled with activities for the families to enjoy such as; music competitions, fashion show, games, free raffle giveaways etc..
